The good news is that it won't take effect until November 2024 so plenty of time for you guys to switch to Android or just pay me through the Desktop/Web Browser option.
Please, please do not use the iOS version after November because it'll only benefit Apple. Thank you for your support.

I have good news, I contacted Discord Support Team, told them of the situation, and I got my account back, if you're still feeling concerned, lets trade code words to know I am the genuine article, what say you?

Hell, maybe add a note in the tiers saying something like "Warning: iOS users are charged 30% extra due to Apple Pay, use browser instead of app." You're doing what you can by warning them, while still protecting your own income and whether the users heed your warning or not, is not up to you anymore.

2024-08-14 04:58:20 +0000 UTCWell, according to another author who posted a similar warning for his patrons, authors will be given the option to charge the 30% extra to their iOS users. So if this is true you might not really lose profits yourself and it will be up to the users whether to pay the extra 30% or do the smart thing and pay through the browser, but that would no longer be your problem, I think.
