Sneak Peek: Quest Pack 08

Hello good people of the Secret Door Club!

In this sneak peek post, we're going to tell you a little bit about what to expect from Quest Pack 08, and show you some sketches Niels has made for it.

Spirian's Retreat

This Quest Pack details the final destination on Marlon's itinerary: Spirian's Retreat. The player characters can relax here, on the sunny beaches, while being pampered by the staff of the Golden Sands Hotel.

Aside from relaxing on the beach, the Golden Sands hotel offers a number of activities that adventurers may enjoy! They will be presented as skill-check-focussed events that can inject some action into this leg of the holiday, as well as some exposition for the history of the island and the Cawmacs. 

Some activities we're working on:

• A diving expedition exploring sunken wrecks, which may include an appearance from Thefticus, the dastardly pirate octopus from one of our request threads.
• A spiritual totem-building exercise
• A mountain-climbing expedition

Players will also meet a new cast of Cawmac characters on this island, that can tell them more about the Cawmac and the Seasong Islands.

The Quest Pack will feature a few 1-inch-grid battlemaps that can be used for the activities from the Quest Pack, or different events in a similar environment.
