NEW DOC: The Remarkable Story Behind Command & Conquer's Remastering

YOUTUBE LINK:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7MUDQYWk6qY

Hey Patrons,

This documentary is a first for a number of reason. It's the first one we've "filmed" in quarantine. It's the first EA project we've ever covered. And, most importantly, it's the first where I've be able to use footage of Tim Curry saying "SPAACE!".

Featuring interviews with Jim Vessella, Petroglyph Games and Lemon Sky, we explore how Command & Conquer Remastered Collection came together, and how the international team remastered FMV, graphics, audio, music, gameplay and more.

Let us know what you think,

Danny

NEW DOC: The Remarkable Story Behind Command & Conquer's Remastering

This was an excellent documentary, and C&C: Remastered turned out to be a fantastic game, just like the originals. :)

Watched it this morning. Great stuff. I played Red Alert so much as a kid. It really brought me back! And to put in the suggestion box, if possible: is there enough footage to do some kind of 10 min supplemental doc just about the live cinematic cut scenes, getting Tim Curry and other bigger celebrities involved, and what that was like overall? I feel like the "live filmed cutscenes" was such a small moment in video game history before it was tossed aside, but I find it incredibly interesting. I hope some indie games bring it back sometime.

Thank you Danny, I remember playing Dune 2 before this and Loving C&C, and the remaster is awesome! I've spent 38 hours in it and still so much undone.

I can't wait for this one, it's been at the top of my wishlist since I first found out they were spinning up a studio to work on this remake! Awesome stuff.
