Does anyone remember where or what he said about the aluminum cans not being recycled causes the worst of worst greenhouse gases?

Thanks for sticking up for the kids. School sucks, adults are lame and ahem… privileged. No side walks, no parks that’s how I ended up in trouble. The problem is the capitalist death cult, Not the phones. The phones suck but it’s so deeper than that. This was a heavy three hours. Geeez. Thanks again for the content.

Educational and entertaining conversation! Made me appreciate (even more) the Silphium I planted in the backyard. Hopefully, they become underground trees - just gotta give em a century or so...

I'm really interested in growing extirpated and endangered native plants. This fascinates me! I remember hearing about a place in Texas that had Baptisia spp. that bloomed in shades of pink. And it was bulldozed and built upon. When I lived in Kentucky as a small child, I remember my mom would take us to the 'holler' in back of our house and we'd catch salamanders and box turtles. I miss my mom. She's the one who got me into nature, and just by doing that..taking me and my infant sister into the holler and lifting rocks when I was 3 years old. She taught me all kinds of nature lore: when the leaves show their backsides it will rain in a couple days. Halo around the sun means rain soon. How to tell the difference between a vulture and a hawk in flight. How to track an animal. She was born and raised on a farmstead. She knew nature.

Dan is absolutely amazing. I could listen to him for hours. Three hours is too short. He should write a book.
