I really gotta control my anger about our shitty fingers fucking everything up. I spend too much energy being sad/pissed off about how we treat the other members of this planet. What's more frustrating is my parents say they understand, yet they fluff off the climate change situation and will not listen to me about how seriously fucked we are. Maybe that's just their own defense mechanism kicking in so they don't have to feel out of control or any sense of guilt. Maybe I should calm the fuck down. I don't know. Reading about how Native Americans perceived the Earth is even more disheartening, cause the framework for an actually good society was there but we fucked that chance up too. Ah hell this winter is killing me. Thanks for the video Joey.

Got any discocactus in your part of the world? They also produce a cephalium. I’m growing one of them at home (D. buenekeri), but it’s just a baby.
Just had a look and it seems they are native to South America, so you probably don’t. Very cool though.

That's the most "late night stoner conversation" comment I've had on a video yet. That said, hope you dug the video.

It sucks that some humans don't seem capable of consciously making better choices. But we don't expect other species to "do better" we accept that they just exist.
Maybe if we take a more objective view of human traits/behavior, we can tease out the strengths and weaknesses that will either save us or destroy us.
The first land plants caused a mass extinction. They weren't aware they were doing it though. It's sad to think our role in earth's history is to cause mass extinction. But it's also strange that we can be aware we are doing it and try to prevent it. It's not like the first land plants thought "oh no we should go back in the water to save the world from catastrophe."
