No? What exactly are you going to print? Let's say you lost a piece of dash trim that goes around the vents in a one-of-a-kind car. How would you 3D print that?
Well, you would need a 3D model to print from. Do you imagine that modeling that part from scratch, replicating the precise dimensions, the precise curvatures, thicknesses, etc "wouldn't really be that hard"?
Because I promise you, creating a complex mesh that is designed to fit seamlessly alongside pre-existing parts on all three axis, is no casual task :)
