Feedback
Added 2021-05-11 09:37:34 +0000 UTCI got quite a bit of negative feedback in regards to the story line within the sandbox environment in chapter 2. Whilst many seem to like the fact that they can play any story at any time as often as they want , others seem to prefer a connected story. As you might have noticed, I started to connect the stories in later versions of the game but I guess for someone who plays the game for the first time it still appears very random.
Does anyone have any suggestions???

I added numbers as a quick fix and currently work on something more sophisticated.
2021-08-10 08:14:40 +0000 UTCWhile the disconnected story makes the sequences easier to replay, I'm not into your work for the self-gratification, I'm into it for the high quality and extraordinarily unique stories you're telling. With that said. The disconnected nature of Ch2 makes it tougher to understand what happened when they're played outta sequence (as I did my first play through today), making the story a lot easier to follow on the first installment. I'd say offering both the ability to replay a sequence once one's been completed in the disconnected format isn't a bad idea, perhaps shifting it to a menu - but connecting the dots on the first play through a consistent linear story just makes more sense... in my humble opinion. Hope this helps...

That way, as new characters are introduced, their exploits can play out in a more logical fashion (you don't want Tam taking the librarian to the beach, and THEN meeting her for the 1st time in the library), but still able to go back and re-watch favorite scenes without having to go through the entire game again.

2021-05-11 15:21:21 +0000 UTCIIRC, the primary reason you chose to use ghd sandbox format was so that players could replay their favorite scenes when they wanted to. I think there are ways to incorporate replaying scenes you like without using the sandbox format however. Lots of games use a gallery where scenes are unlocked for replay as you go along. The gallery isn't part of the game but can be accessed from the Main Menu. I'm personally OK with the current format, but a lot of people hate sandboxes in general because they're usually executed very poorly, requiring a lot of grind and giving very little direction.

2021-05-11 10:29:19 +0000 UTCI'm not one of the people who gave you any negative feedback but I would guess that it's not about not being linear but rather about it being somewhat repetitive at times? Usually games with exhibitionism are also a lot about the corruption and how they always start off with something mild and build up slowly until finally walking around naked in broad daylight. In this game while there is some corruption, they seem to go too quickly from shy to the same level of exhibitionism and shamelessness as Tamara. The librarian is a good example of that. I think if each of them had more distinct personalities and preferences and each were in different stages of exhibitionism it would feel less random, because in most scenes the characters could be replaced with Tamara and it would feel the same. I could be totally off and maybe thats not at all what they mean or want but I guess they'll let us know
