The next Guru is Contrapoints
Added 2020-12-14 06:18:41 +0000 UTCWe never intended Decoding the Gurus to be only about people we dislike or disagree with and so after Twitter polling we've decided to turn our attention to someone we anticipate having a more positive time with: Natalie Wynn AKA Contrapoints.
We realise she does not style herself as a Guru and is fairly self deprecating but we also agree with people who have suggested she is regarded by a fair amount of her fans as a quasi-guru. We will likely end up interrogating our labelling in the episode!
In any case, we are now trying to narrow down which episode to focus on. Given that her main output is highly stylized YouTube videos this might be a bit of a challenge to cover in an audio format but let's see.
If anyone has any suggestions for videos of hers that they think might be suitable we are all ears!
