I'm on chapter 12 of Bonded Mages right now. Arden is very fun to write, he's also a little bit of an arse. I mean, what do you think was going to happen when a young tavern keeper is given badass magic?

While that series does have it's good points what bothered me the most with Tower Mages was that the mcs constantly did things that I feel should have killed him, sometimes even nearly does and then gets rewarded for it. Well, there were a few other things that bugged me, but they were all one off things, that one kept happening over and over again.

About DJ I must agree that the essence of the first 3 books really dissipated, but I believe it is because of the sudden increase in the protagonist's harem, there were many new characters participating actively and directly in the story that still needed to be developed along with the protagonist's interactions with all the characters close to him, this ended up generating a feeling that Zach bit off more than he could chew.

There are two major mysteries left to be solved, heaven/angles and the vampires shooting down dragons, with El Dorado, Chinese valley place, dreamer’s death and a few other minor things that I feel need to be addressed as well.

Your romantic arcs have really come a long way and are my favorite parts of your recent books so the order going forward is going to be: Bonded Mages, then DJ 9, then DD 104? DJ is the first ever book I read in this genre and one of my favorite series of all time. It is sort of heartbreaking to hear we are reaching the end. Is there no way we can do a 10th to wrap up the Georgian vampires as well as the celestial plane? :')

If you ever need a story idea I have like 6 that i'll never write, they're yours if you want them. I hope the kickstarter meets it's goal, but since it stressed you out so much, whats the outlook on more of the manga if it meets 30k? You weren't super clear on that.

I was enjoying a book by another author and at the end of the first book he made them separate due to an incredibly strong evil forcing her to be a bargaining chip and leaving his side. Got so angry I never could go read the follow up stories to see how it turned out.

2023-07-21 13:30:32 +0000 UTCIn case you haven't noticed, I'm not at all adverse to some villainous women. Betraying the mc... Idk I feel like they'd be ejected from the Harem at that point. Could I get away with breaking some rules? Probably, but I'd need a big story reason to pull that off.

Even then when you have to go into mature spaces for manga with sexual material, then it's straight smut. Trying to write something with story, and just a little bit of smut puts it in a strange space where I don't really fit in anywhere.

I mean, lets be honest, not every guy picks the right woman (or man, I don’t judge) the first time, right? Lol thought I’d plant a seed there 😁😆

I think those are my two questions for now personally I love your work, I love romance so really can't wait to see what you do in a more romance heavy series. One thing you started doing that I really like is switching pov sometimes to other characters, It adds more flavor to the story seeing their pov at times and hope you do it for this new series! That is all for now! ;)
