Anyway, I enjoyed this one a lot. Played w painterly stuff, played with rougher linework. I think I've had a breakthru moment with all the life drawing I've been doing that's gotten me much more comfortable w body shading. I'm getting very powerful w a pencil. I think it's come thru for digital stuff a bit, but I need a bit more work to make the cognitive jump from understanding how to see and copy down shadows off an irl model to pulling shadows out of my brain for stuff without a reference.
Maybe I will do some painting from photos again soon? Or put out a call for selfie submissions? If any of you would like to be painted lemme kno, I'll do it
