It was too much trouble to continue the fight. He's very patient too. That's what we think about him from what we've seen up until now

Itachi is very smart and purpose driven. he weighted up the benefits of engaging further and saw zero value in it : ) Guy is a Beast 1000%, but he couldn't take both of them on at the same time (assuming Asuma would've been neutralized quite quickly) ποΈποΈπ¦ββ¬ποΈποΈ

2025-05-25 05:00:41 +0000 UTCnice reaction guys! Just to be clear, Itachi spared Guy, Kurenai & Asuma... they were not scared. Itachi was just using his head and wanted to avoid engaging in a full on battle and dropping unnecessary bodies (especially knowing there would be Anbu on the way to join in, who would have got smoked by the way). If anything, the leaf got spared in this instance (since Guy would've only been able to focus on Kisame only, & Asuma + Anbu would be light work for Itachi). I believe the point was, Itachi wanted to prevent wasting energy on things that don't serve their current mission.
