Like many others, I always thought Sakura was useless at this point in the story, but that’s exactly the point. Sakura is a young girl who doesn’t know much about the real world; she’s still very naive and childish, while Naruto and Sasuke grew up facing major struggles and trauma. I feel that this contrast highlights their differences and complements each character’s development!
