Bruh. We gotta catch you up on some lore lol. The Ginyus showing up made no sense, sure. But this? It's inline. Don't forget that Android 20 (Dr Gero), CANONICALLY(in the manga and daizenshu) thinks Yamcha is well within parameters to be Goku's power level if not for them skipping out recording the namek fights. You will thankfully see more of this if you ever decide to read the Moro arc in Dragon Ball Super. Yamcha, Tien, and Krillin are literal human prodigies. Thankfully Toyotaro makes it well known how insane these three are in newer publications.
