G’ali wouldn’t even look up, embarrassed, humiliated. Ursa didn't seem too keen to snap out of her guilt trip either. She simply stood in a daze, holding her injured friend.
“It is not very deep… but it will leave a scar,” Ursa said, voicing what everyone else was thinking.
Catra felt an intense chill run down her spine, and an anger that threatened to cloud her vision. And suddenly, from behind her, came a warm and strangely comforting light. Her pupils contracted as she looked back at Adora—no, She-ra—who with delicateness rare for a woman of her size, knelt before G'ali and placed her hands on the wound.
Only time, affection, and the Magicat's own resilience would heal the invisible wounds of what happened that day. But Catra was grateful that She-ra was there to heal the visible ones.
Catra offered her lover a sad but grateful smile.
Dark times were ahead, and Catra was going to need She-ra—no, Adora—more than ever
