Not every piece Fraylim's done corresponds directly to a written scene--though it's very easy to imagine this particular bridal outfit in Cindy's near future. Ivory basque, stockings, pink nails and smoky eyes: is this her husband's fantasy, or David's own?
With chapter thirteen coming out later this week, Book 5 is nearly done. Then it's just a matter of revisiting the end of Book 6, before moving on to the finale. Those wedding bells promised in the original prelude nearly twenty years ago (!) aren't so far off anymore.

It's a real shame Fraylim never set up a Patreon of their own. Their artwork certainly deserves one.

2025-10-01 14:26:01 +0000 UTCSince we never get Tom’s POV or his interiority we have to infer that he has his own reasons for marrying Cindy and it can’t just be because she is a very beautiful young woman. Like Tom’s slept with plenty of desirable young women but he decides to marry Cindy? Feel like there has to be more to that story than just some kind of lust.
