Let's Create a Character Pt. 1 - Secret Badass?

Consider: a secret badass has a natural reason get involved in various adventures, but is also inherently confident/competent to a degree. A regular girl has a wider range of possible personalities, and will have to solve her problems very differently - if her gym trainer accidentally locks her outside without any clothes on, she won't have the means to break in again.
Since this question is really independent of any others, it's going up simultaneously with #2.
