If the first startup of the launcher triggers a 'Windows protected your PC' message, click 'More info' and 'Run anyway ' .
The Wild Life launcher will take care of downloading from a custom server for you. This still doesn't include patching as we aren't quite there with that system yet, but it will download from a custom server so you don't have to deal with different confusing file hosts and their limitations anymore. Our goal is to run the entire build distribution via the launcher someday.

2025-04-22 10:54:20 +0000 UTCUpdate : I don't know if you did anything on your end but on mine, I turned off my VPN and made one last Hail Mary attempt at using the Launcher to download the April release and lo and behold I got the full download intact....this might have been a one off... IDK .... but this should speak to the continued effacasy of using this policy of yours to provide only full iterations of the latest game updats....

2025-04-20 21:38:37 +0000 UTCHey Steve it's been a couple of years since I joined, and I remeber complaining about being unable to find a patch to bring the earliest version up to date and you being shocked that I would suggest such a thing... that was how I precieved how new itierations were done in the gaming world... instead of wholsale downloading ever larger versions of a game... the main problem I as having then was that the download would develope a "network error" and crash and be unable to re-intialize.... we went back and forth on this issue as I couldn't download the game I was supporting development for... in the end I was just told that I simply needed a faster download... this was a problem for me then because I lived in the countryside and that was as fast as I could get... now fast forward now... I live in the city and have fast internet averaging at about 2.4 mps which should be more than reasonable.... however now I am getting the exact same issue now that the whole download has grown to more than 800% in size since I first joined which would be otherwise a good thing... I've now tried every option there is to download this recent itieration MegaX2, GoFilesX2 and the Launcher x4 times now.... all choking at various points in the download....is it time to give up now and just wait till this hit's Steam? I don't have any trouble there downloading gigantic files there even over 100 gig's taking full days to recieve....

2025-04-17 18:14:09 +0000 UTCThe launcher will only let me download the public build even though i am $10 subscribed. I am logged into the launcher and I am using the $10 drop down menu, but it only shows the 2_20 as the latest full build

2025-04-16 16:46:32 +0000 UTCAre you using the launcher? If so make sure you DLed the $10 build and select the full build version from the drop down above the launch. If you haven't then go to your game folder and make sure you're launching the full build. It's called 2025.04.11_Shipping_Full_Build. I accidentally DLed the public build once and it censored all my stuff. Basically just the build is how the game knows. Also you will need to recreate any shortcuts etc because the new builds don't exactly overwrite the old ones. So if you've had a public build and made a shortcut. That shortcut is just gonna open the old version. I recommend using the launcher, especially since eventually the plans are for the games updates etc to be all in the launcher/launcher dependent.

2025-04-16 08:07:29 +0000 UTCJust wanted to add, yeah I have that issue. It won't save to a character preset, but if you change the voice in the character menus in pose or sex scenes it will stay that voice. So it is useable atm just takes an extra step.

2025-04-14 23:25:13 +0000 UTCI am not sure I understand. I can reproduce easily cause it's always the same result. I go to costumize a character, change the voice from default to something else (tried with different characters) then safe as preset. When I leave or load the saved character the voice is back to default. :(
