Patreon Build Release 28.04.2023 Announcement and Changelog

We are almost there with this month’s build release!

Most excitingly, this time is the first implementation of a few quests in the main game world. Keep in mind that this is just the first iteration of many and the visual quality, functionality and quantity of gameplay and quest related content is still heavy work in progress. You are getting a very unique insight into a state of game development that under normal game development conditions would not be published.

We realize this goes against what we said previously, but we wanted to get the first story batch out as soon as possible. Future quest batches will be released with more polish.
Important information: Part of the graphical optimization work has been to enable a new method for shadow rendering that has improved the performance in the main game world but may negatively affect sandbox performance. The impact can also vary substantially based on hardware and software configurations. Currently you can change this back using the Engine.ini file (found under C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\WildLifeC\Saved\Config\Windows) if you want to by adding the line r.Shadow.Virtual.Enable=0 to the file in the [/Script/Engine.RendererSettings] section (add that line if it does not exist in your file). Later we will directly implement a toggle for it in the game video settings.

Additions:

• Added 15 new sandbox sex animations, see the full list here
• Added outfit Cumflated for Shannon, Kim, Leah, Alissa, Mercer, Lee and Milanna
• Added outfit Speedo Underwear for Zyke and many Bol, Max and Sethro characters
• Added many Max outfits for Lyndon
• Added outfits Kooders and Wench for Mercer
• Added Hoffman hairstyle for Max characters
• Added hairstyle Medium Long Flat for Max
• Sandbox editor: Added Workout poses for Max, Bol and Sethro characters

• Resolved several instances of quest markers not appearing/disappearing

• Sandbox editor: Resolved invisible characters that are part of a sex scene or poser becoming visible on scene load
• Sandbox editor: Resolved characters changed via Edit in a sex scene reverting back to original character on scene load
• Sandbox editor: Resolved player character not being able to move when loading a scene with a player
• Sandbox editor: Resolved issue in sandbox scene upgrade from v9 to v10 that could lead to broken pose controls when upgrading from v9 to v11
• Sandbox editor: Resolved crash when trying to undo after starting edit mode
• Sandbox editor: Sandbox characters will not save isPlayer in prop collections anymore

Known Issues:

• There are some AI navigation issues on the open world
• Due to DirectX 12’s on the fly shader compilation there will be significant lag spikes whenever new materials are loaded
• Fur is temporarily disabled due to incompatibiliy with Unreal Engine 5
• Setting animation speed and amplitude to zero causes sex toys to disappear
• Clothes textures will not fully load in the character creator
• Physics break if you scale characters in the sandbox editor

• Sandbox editor: Resolved Tetrahedron floating in the air when placed
• Sandbox editor: Dynamic mesh props now use procedural meshes with more options
