Fallout time :D

Ok this was one of the most technically challenging project i might have created so far , but daaaaamn it's gonna be a badass piece, and since you've asked for some fallout stuff, there will be more :D

If you ever wondered what 50 work hours looks like on a single 3d modeling project, here it is :)

I spent quite some time on the build approach so in the end all of it could be easy to print, but also easy to put together and actually be strong enough to use! Don't want this to fall apart in your hands :D The gears and chain teeth were especially challenging

To make all of that possible I decided to approach the design by creating 5 model groups that come together in the end. Each group is then further split into smaller parts, to make it easy to print and use and once it's all done it fits together nicely like a big puzzle piece :)

I love solving complex designs like this, so I calculated in quite some tolerances to make it all work :)

As you might have noticed by now, i don't just pop up 3d models and let you figure out the rest, i much rather spend extra time to create an entire project and solve everything there is to solve you have easier time printing it and more fun with assembly rather than trying to figure out what's going on and how to cut parts :)

To recap, included extras are:
- project instruction / guide pdf
- 3mf files split into groups for easier use as well pre sliced and added support the way i will print it
- stl files split into groups for easier use
- "tubes" that can be both 3d printed, or you can use real ones for added realism effect
- presliced for minimum support needed

It all fits on regular sized print bed like (200x200x200)

Lets see this bad boy, fire up the printers :D

Available to all "we are makers" tier members :)

its 5x5 pin, they are usually used in most of my builds, so i sometimes forget to add the stl pin files to the folder. i added it now :) its a 5x5 pin, used for connecting the parts :)

Amazing model! Am I missing something, which pins are we supposed to use? An STL I can't find or just 5mm dowel?
