Dev Log #9 - Chapter 1

Every time that I finish something in the game I feel more excited not only because it’s one more step towards the release, but also because it’s usually something that I’m happy and proud of.
This week was another one of those, I finished a HUGE scene, plot-wise and in size. It has two fully animated CGs and a couple hundreds of static renders. I went an extra step to also put this scene’s musics in the game already and the feels really kicked in while playing it.
Aside from this scene I finished two others as well, these branch into different paths, those which will require a second playthrough (or saving before choosing it) to fully experience them. I’m making sure they actually work as I intended.
I will use the weekend to play the current build as I add the musics and also try to finish some of the current code for a new feature within the Gallery.
This is really exciting, things are moving forward nicely!
