2025-04-22 03:25:11 +0000 UTCthat reveal that harmony invented the severance chip was WILD!!!!! i feel like when she created it she wanted it to be used for one specific purpose. like possibly to help with everyone developing addiction issues at the ether factory?? or more likely she just wanted it to be used to sever people from grief, which she clearly struggles with herself. but when lumon took her idea they thought "why only use it for one thing, when we can sever people from ALL bad feelings" and i think her resentments toward lumon for that is reaching its breaking point.

I'm not sure what my entertainment would be if not for the Pumpkins. The big reveal of who invented severance makes the part in this season's opening with Mrs. Cobel overlooking that book with Mark running around makes sense now. It was right in front of our faces all along!
