There's actually a fun fact about this movie guys. Remember when Biff gets out of the time machine and he hits himself with the cane it's because in the future Lorraine shot him That's why he was acting like he was having a heart attack or something.

2025-09-04 21:14:06 +0000 UTCLol so to answer your question you both were asking about why they didnt just go to when old biff took the almanac and lock the door, Doc says that if they try to go into that point in the future it will be set in the future of this new timeline that Biff caused so none of that will be there. Which is why they had to go to the moment when Biff gave his younger version the almanac in the past.
