This evening, the sun is going down, it's not too cold (yet), no wind, the fall colors lured me into listening to the birds and watching a squirrel walk along the high wires and go from poll to poll--Wes all but screams! LOL! I think he gasps. It's the part with the bugs and all I see when I look back down at the screen is Wes and Chey making horrified faces! ROFL! I laughed so hard I was crying just now, which is very needed. I've been so down lately (just in general--it's my first time quitting nicotine and I'm determined to see it thru!!!!). Thank you both. I needed that emotional laugh. *hugs*

I bow to Frances Sternhagen (Irene) in this and all things. ❤️ When you said, "Who is cheering that?" while the crowd killed the soldier, my first instinct was to say people who will attend a Trump rally in the future.. 🤷♀️ Just me?

I had read the novella prior to seeing it in theaters and it stays extremely faithful until the end, which shocked the hell out of me. FYI if you ever do decide to watch it again, Frank Darabont also created a black & white version of the film for dvd/bluray, which I actually prefer. It brings out a lot of moodiness and dread to the shots. Highly recommend!

2024-05-16 09:20:21 +0000 UTCI loved this 💕💕 My favourite King adaptation is probably the OG Pet Sematary, and my fave piece of trivia about it is that in a scene where the main character wanders out of bed in the night the actor was originally just wearing shorts, but they ended up putting him in full pyjamas because he was so hot it was distracting from the plot 🔥😅 I'd like to see you react to Doctor Sleep if you haven't already seen it! Rebecca Ferguson is so scary in it 😱
