Now it's time for some chit chat about modding. You can go straight to the bottom if you are not interested and just want a download.
It's kind of hard to explain how challenging it is to make animated mod for Skirk. Her model is spilted into 5 IBs. Such spliting is quiet common in like HSR and ZZZ, but it's the first time it appears in GI. It gives the game developer more material slots to realize Skirk's dreamlike, cosmic looking. But it also brings a 'cosmic' difficulty in armature control.
I use armatures to pose the models in each keyframe of my mods. And armature use the vertex group names and weights to deform the model. But the vg in a splited model can be a real mess. Between different IBs, there will be vgs that clearly use the same bone but with different names, and vgs that use the same name but have a compeletly different weight. There isn't a universal law just looking at these dumped models.
Luckly, i think i've found a solution. My Skirk's mod here is a prove. i'll explain it in another post maybe a few days later, after i make some more examination.
There is one problem i haven't solve, though. It's the 15-4001 warning. It keeps popping out around every 10 minutes, which frustrated me a lot. If anyone have any clue in solving it, i'll be very grateful.
