My Interview with Arahmaiani on Performance Art

Performance art is a unique art medium – communication with the audience can be direct and performers can convey creative ideas and messages in a more open and free way. Also could bcome a kind of participatory artictic form and dialogue.
The other art forms usually is more rigid technically – and communication with audince is different. And dialogue kind of communication is not possible but in performance is possible
- What is an example of a performance you have created and/or seen that exemplifies this quality of performance art?

- How would you describe your creative process?
Even though performance art is very open and free medium which support my tendency to explore possibilities and creativity further and further – I like to also connect it with real life. Also with nature and all parts of it.
