This raid content drought has been rough...

Through these past few months, I've been doing my best to try and find content that 1) I enjoy making in hopes that 2) you enjoy watching it. I would personally consider these efforts a moderate success, but I really haven't found anything that can take the place of the raid content that got you all invested in the channel in the first place. I don't have any intention of ending raid content altogether, mind you, but it does pose a problem when FFXIV's content (understandably) slows down. I've hit various subsets of the community with things like Among Us, fighting games, and discussion videos (which are arguably the most successful of them all), but nothing that is a legitimate alternative that could keep the channel growing if this were to happen in the future. It also doesn't help that YouTube's algorithm doesn't like sharing this content and subsequent videos always tend to do worse than the initial...

So, I am talking to the group about revisiting older content while level synced, but even that well will dry out sooner or later. That being the case, what OTHER types of content would you like to see? I could definitely take more time on discussion and theorycraft videos, keep a variety going, or even just stick to streaming and adjust the rewards here to accommodate that. Let me know. You're the backbone of why I'm able to do what I do so your input matters to me.

Could always do BLU raids! I know it sounds memey with how BLU is right now, but there are legitimate rewards for completing Coils + Alexander as BLU.

Echoing what others have touched upon, the most enjoyable content is from seeing the team's ever dynamic chemistry. Everyone trading quips, refining their brand, or sharing personal stories on a topic throughout a comedic sketch. If comedy is still the angle you are developing content towards, maybe host a team "Jackbox Games" night or a "Cards Against Humanity" stream. Might need to lay down some ground rules beforehand to keep content stream safe and less censor blurs to edit in over someone's phallic drawings (*coughRhayaracough*)

I really like the idea of level synced attempts at older content, though I understand that's not a complete answer to your needs. Whatever you do I'll be watching on youtube and wishing you all the best!

The reason I watch you is less for FFXIV (although it's probably my favorite of what you've coveredso far) and more for watching you and the raid crew/other friends interact with each other. It's fun to be effectively a ghost in the room amongst a bunch of people having a good time together. So for me personally don't worry about branching out. As long as the content is fun I'll be around.

As I live in Europe, I will probably never catch you streaming. I'm either asleep or at work myself XD So I'm here mainly for the videos. As for the content of said videos... While I enjoy the FFXIV ones the most, it's not actually the raiding or what you are fighting that primarily appeals to me. It's the actual banter that's going on in your group that makes me come back for every single video! Sure the added fighting element, the pressure when it goes wrong and the joy when you celebrate a victory is nice but actually to me it's just secondary πŸ˜… And as long as there is content with multiple people being involved, I'm fine with whatever! But that shouldn't mean I don't enjoy watching your solo play! D: It's just that group content is more fun to watch and listen to. But from personal experience I know it's much harder to edit πŸ˜‚ I mean heck if I could I'd love to get into a raid group and try myself on savage stuff casually just for the fun. But there seemingly are none in my time zone on NA servers... why did I start on Crystal and now have all my friends there? XD Okay rant over :P I won't stop supporting you and your family just because there's a FFXIV video draught going on. I want to make that clear!

I've been enjoying some of the non-FF14 content, like the Among Us and Fall Guys vids. I would be interested in watching level synced (min-ilvl?) old raids, since I wasn't around for many of them. I agree with Lisa, there's definitely a few one off experiences that could fit in a few videos.

Lumilias

Lisa's got a good one with the re-visiting the role talks now that things have settled down, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the older content re done, but I imagine it won't have quite the level of shenanigans due to being comparatively easier even when synched.

Prezo

try playing agrou with the group. its basically werewolf and might be fun to watch

Cylestea

From just a XIV perspective there's a handful of one-off experiences you can show off, like blue mage raids or Eureka/Bozja. You could also revisit the pre-expac role talks and see who's happy with what now, open a discussion for what could improve and what needs reworking etc

Lisa Marie

Honestly I would love podcast styled videos, with you maybe some friends that we have gotten to know through the previous videos, discussing various topics, doesn't necessarily need to be FFXIV, can be anything from games to something interesting you have all experienced. I like the among us stuff as well as fighting game and discussion based stuff it helps diversify you. I think personality driven content (whatever it may be) would be doing well. That's just my two cents, now time to go back to the shadows o/
