Another spectacular episode. And, I mean that specifically - the spectacle on display, what with the huge sea serpent in the Trial, Sauron's spell over Celebrimbor obscuring reality, the start of the siege by Adar's forces, etc., is simply amazing. And almost because of that, the scene that stands out most to me is the subtle conversation between Adar and Galadriel, such great delivery of lines and incredible acting by both of them. Also, I enjoyed seeing the further development of the Harfoots and Stoors, and as always, don't mess with Disa. So good!

2024-09-20 15:30:54 +0000 UTCWe shouldn’t see the Balrog, it doesn’t awaken until the third age when it’s discovered by Durin VI (Durin IV is the son in the show. Also Durin’s aren’t alive at the same time but that’s a whole other thing), but since the show is playing very fast and loose with the canon and they’ve planted the seeds, I expect it will show up in the show eventually
