Superman & Lois 1x11 Reaction!

Folks... I think this episode solidified the series as my favorite take on Superman in live-action. Excellent work.

Superman & Lois 1x11 Reaction!

Finally getting around to watching the rest of this season, and boy Augustin couldn't be more irrational about the character of Kyle. There are definite elements of his personality I strongly dislike, but on the issue of supporting Morgan Edge plan, he was absolutely in the right with the information that anyone provided him. Lois never, once gave him a shred of evidence to support her accusations. Why would he trust her? He literally has no logical rational reason to. As she provided evidence of rimes committed? Nope, not a one. Has she managed to get a single article published showing evidence about him? Nope not a single one, as any other paper come up with evidence against him? Not that we have ever seen. The strongest argument she made, that she could back up is that he missed his target labor jobs by 1/3 rd in the last town he developed in. You ask any declining or dying small town and they would consider that an utter blessing. Sure you can dislike his attitude, his home life, but on this. Sorry, your judging with a gods eye and not as someone who would only have the evidence that Kyle himself has access to. Hell and when Lois actually does get some strong circumstantial evidence, she never once shares it with Kyle. Nor does she do anything like get Superman to back her knowledge of what he is doing, when she has but to ask.

Doing a rewatch with ye guys. This show was phenomenal and this episode filled me with joy and then broke my heart. Writing and actors did such an amazing job of making you care for these characters and especially the Kent family. All done in such a natural way.

First of all, Augustine is my spirit animal. Second I'm going to need some Mexican Contingent merch and maybe a sticker with a super chancla? I would buy it

New patreon member here... just catching up with your reactions to S&L episodes. I don't know if you guys have gone back to rewatch some of the early episodes but it seemed clear to me that Morgan Edge retrieved the Eradicator module at the start of episode 4 in that 6 years ago sequence in Saskatchewan, Canada. The Eradicator contains the Kryptonian personality database. X-Kryptonite is what imbues human bodies with the Kryptonian energy absorbing/storing capability. In episode 10, with the help of Kal-El's mother, they were able to erase the alien consciousness from the Subjekts. However, those individuals still retained some of the enhanced abilities (durability and rapid healing) from the X-Kryptonite. That's why they were able to survive falling thousands of feet. As for Clark's cliffhanger situation, I'm guessing he is either resistant to the Eradicator trying to supplant his personality with one that's more compliant to Zeta Rho's will or perhaps his mother, while temporarily revived in Lana's body, was able to reprogram the Eradicator device to permanently remove the ability to implant a consciousness into another body.

Totes not related but if you guys are willing to try and check something how to make it easier to sync up the vod. This is how I watch L&S: CW website + AdBlock lol. I completely get no ads then I also get the extended version so I'm happy. But I understand if using AdBlock is not good for you guys. Anyway, LOVING THE REACTIONS!

The intertwining of some scenes we saw in his memory of the development of his love relationship with Lois and the pilot episode was just awesome. And the end of this ep pushed me into terrifying territory. Maybe Steel is not from another reality, maybe he is from the future and was not aware of that?

In a single 40 min episode, they made me love, laugh, and cry about the beautiful relationship between Clark & Lois in the same way I felt after 10 seasons of Smallville. The pacing is just spot on, the dialogue and chemistry feels real, and all of this easily cements this as my favorite iteration of Superman & Lois. And while Edge teeters on joining the “Zod is the big bad villain” concept, the acting and writing shifts it just enough where it feels fresh and exciting. I can’t wait to see what they do as a finale!

Once again I have to remind hector, Nadria's contract was for 13 episodes and then CW ordered 2 more episodes, Adam knows this is a 15 episode season. You can't just believe what she says on twitter as gospel bro, she got her money for the 13 episodes she has worked on. Also, you can't give Nadria the credit for the good writing because she only wrote episode 5 of Superman & Lois that's it that's the only episode she has ever written and even that episode is not written alone by her, she had help by Todd helbing (showrunner) and Brent Fletcher (who actually wrote this episode 11). Listen to fans too man.

Spider

This was the best episode of Superman & Lois for me but I am sure the season finale will even top this one because Tom Cavanagh (Dr Wells) is directing and Todd helbing the showrunner is writing.

Spider

Great reaction! I have at least 10 favorite moments of that ep.

This series is so good. That quick look back at the important moments in Clark's life. It was great.
