I would 100% plan the adventures for a sandbox game. Sandbox doesn't mean no prep; it just means there is no pre-determined "next thing to do" for the players. They get to decide where to go and what to do. I would still drop plot hooks that they might pursue, and allow them to decide which to pursue, or allow them to go off and do something they want. However, I would prepare those adventures for sure. In practice what this looks like is the players tell me IN ADVANCE of a game session what they want to do so that I can prepare the adventure. I'm not familiar with Sly Flourish's lazy GM method. I just know that an adventure I prepare in advance is going to be way more satisfying on many levels than something I make up on the fly based on only a few quick notes I make "just in case."

How to structure adventures in a sandbox game : I run 2 sandbox games (1 dnd5e one pf2e) and use sly flourish's lazy dm methods, but sometimes I wonder if i should still plan for adventures on top of session planning, to give it more of a structure Don't know if it's clear but I would like your take on it :)
