2025-12-31 01:09:42 +0000 UTCMisspent youth allowed me to be in a small room while a 12ga was shot as well as in a concrete stairwell while an AR was dumped feet from my ear. It sucked. I’m fine. I’ve never met a vet that had concerns about short term exposure (like a prolonged gunfight). Those I’ve seen hype up noise concerns are all people with zero personal experience. That said- I’ll still be using double ear protection at indoor ranges and the highest quality inner ear foam for all range trips.
