Hmm. I haven’t noticed a draw time reduction, except when carrying deep carry below the waistband with elastic waistband pants. That’s because of the interplay between that style of waistband and the gap created by the protrusion on the grip. I haven’t noticed a difference in building my support hand grip though. I’ll put it on a timer. Thanks!

2025-09-05 04:08:23 +0000 UTCAbout a decade ago I ran something similar to the grip sleeve on a 19. Mine was a stick wrapped in hockey tape- a bit less bulk than the Warren sleeve. While I found it could help for longer strings of fire, it was never intuitive or easy to establish grip from the draw. I gave up on it because of that.

2025-09-05 04:01:45 +0000 UTCI’m curious if you can see any value in using the Warren Tactical grip sleeve. Specifically for these 1.5 stacks with less grip circumference, I’ve found that the sleeve makes it easier to get my support had behind a ledge than trying to cram the base of my palm in the tiny space that’s available at the back of the grip of the pistol. I don’t have large hands, so hand size isn’t the issue for me. I just don’t have a gap on the gun I’m using (Hellcat Pro) to get my support hand pad actually behind the gun a little, even with my thumbs flagged up/forward and my webbing of my firing hand high on the tang.
