The Creature
Added 2019-08-13 14:00:02 +0000 UTCThree pairs of deep lavender eyes stare at him, motionless, if you don’t count those weird horizontal bumpy pupils contracting under the rich purple of the sunset light. It’s skin like a lining of a shell, opaline and shimmering, like a polished moonstone. Though it looks very much organic. Tentacle-like structures, forming it’s bald head, create many grooves and tightly pressed cuts, all meeting in one place, which would be in a rough position of the human mouth. It was definitely the most animated part of it’s face, constantly continuing to move ever so slightly. Almost like a tongue, yet keeping a firmer, more controlled structure.
With a quick glance Killian notices that it’s not only “Adam’s” face that changed. His whole body appears to be layered, built of many squished and twisted leathery coils, shimmering under the soft rays of light coming through the leaves. Lean. It’s “muscles” without an inch of fat, look intimidating, predatory, as if always flexing and ready to strike. He isn’t sure, after that short look, if he’s eyes are still deceived or if the creature really has four arms. What’s he’s definitely sure about is the tail. On it’s base cleft into many evermoving thick barbels, slowly fading out as the tail moved further away from the body, changing into a one long scut with a bulge at the very end.
It is most likely dangerous, judging from the looks itself, yet now… no movement, no action, no nothing. Just a blinkless stare.
Oof i had so much fun while designing this fella. Got some inspiration from Eldrazi designs from Magic the Gathering, works of Sadania on Deviantart and just overall idea of sexualized lovecraftian imagery ♥
