Major WarHams Update

I wanted to update you all on some changes internally with WarHams to retain some transparency on what we’re doing. And some projects that are coming up.

○ Firstly, we’ve been hard at work on establishing our Tribes of the Debt Collectors Warhammer campaign that helps influence the WarHams campaign. Currently, it is set up on discord for people to apply and play right now. So if you have any feedback on the process we’d love to hear from you! (Discord link: discord.gg/zoranthebear)

○ Further on we’re still working on the WarHams website. We have a domain laid out and have some extremely helpful people assisting me set everything up. We should hopefully have it up and running this year.

○ For those who frequent the Patreon, you may have noticed a new Patreon goal that has been set up. And that’s for our Warhammer Fantasy campaign. We’ve had some small talks with Cubicle 7, and we’re interested in playing Warhammer Fantasy 4th edition (not the age of sigmar one).

So we’ll be preparing who will be playing in the campaign and what characters we’ll be. Along with a livestream where YOU decide what I will be playing.  This character will only live during our session 0 test games, which will be recorded audio only and put here on Patreon for you all to enjoy.

○ Additionally about the WarHams merchandise. We’ve for now been doing merch out of Design by Humans, who have been great so far. But, they keep rejecting the WarHams logo as a T-Shirt design. We have no idea why, as the shirts I’ve ordered look just fine. We ask that those who’ve asked us about be patient as we try to resolve this issue. Also, we can’t adjust the price on that platform which is annoying, so if you all have a better platform that best serves you guys we’d love to check out other options.

○ Now lastly, which is the big one, is my announcement of going full time with content creation.

I have been doing content creation for around 10 or so years. During which have been a number of rocky roads during it too. My life had to be reset several times due to life kicking me in the ass. I was even to the edge of homelessness a few times. Sometimes I had to rush to a friend’s house who had cable internet to even get footage for a video sometimes because I was stuck with satellite internet. To summarize, I’ve been dedicated to this for quite a while.

The decided change to focus on the ZoranTheBear channels, WarHams, and other projects came up due to my current job. For those who follow my narrative know that I abandoned a lot of my time to take a job up in the Seattle/Washington area. To save a long story and details that may affect some people, I have a fairly strong desire to go full time even under the world’s circumstances.

This change is set to start at the beginning of January 2021. Now the real question is why are you telling us?

With the agreement of the WarHams cast, Game Master, and Alfabusa. Who all have been extremely supportive of this. Have agreed to allow me to take a chunk of the WarHams earnings to allow me to afford going full time. And as of this time that is only 1200 a month.

We kept it to this price point to allow us to keep the monetization model we set that distributes the contributions you provide to WarHams. This to all of us is an investment to allow me to work on all of this full time, instead of the scarce hours I have in the day when smashed in between my actual job and streaming to meet ends meet.

The system we put together is if all of the income (donations during the show and contributions) reach the $1200. All other income is no longer touched by me and will be distributed normally to the show and cast.

We wanted to bring this out in the open to retain transparency and trust. As one of the last things we want to do is spring something upon you and betray your expectations. We’re doing our best to be as professional and forward as possible. And we count on all of you to keep us in check.
