I think there is some key element that he has that will not just continue the legacy of OFA but improve it. And that is something unique to him. Mirio of course would have been a great choice and have done amazing things, but I suspect it wouldn't be as significant in the novelty he brings to it that Deku will down the road.

2022-01-30 11:02:04 +0000 UTCI was thinking about this question some more and I think there's actually a broader ideological theme that comes in a whole bunch of shows about where one person's choice begins and ends. It can look totally different depending on whetehr we're looking at it from the perspective of the individual making the choice and an outside observer deeming whether the person should have the chance to make a choice.

There was nothing absolute about his statement, and many mangaka in the past have made such statements only to barrel past those expectations. I'm really annoyed so many fans have taken this like an absolute reality.

Deku is seemingly willing to give up One for All to Mirio after Night Eye (and All Might not talking to him ab his past) discourages him. How do you think the story changes if Mirio takes over this role? I know crazy theoretic lmao

2022-01-28 06:56:53 +0000 UTCI agree with the allmight not being irresponsible giving Deku the quirk, deku may not have known exactly what he was getting into, but stepped up, and had every opportunity to move on and give up the power as well. I think it should definitely be made more clear it's okay if he wants to leave (but it's obvious he doesn't)_as I could see some being pressured into continuing even if they didn't want to.

I would like episodes focused on their characters similar to the way we focused on villains, would love more focus on sero, sugar man, etc. I always wanted to see sugar man arm wrestle deku or something simple lol
