Story 6 Progress - Over the Hump (No spoilers + scrap work)

No spoilers in the above GIF scene, just out of context fighting. The gallery contains a bunch of scrap/side art unrelated to the animation.

We are 79% done with the animation overall and 99% done with the storyboards. All of the main battle has been animated, and just needs some special FX and background work. The ending sequence and credits are underway, and although they are not as complex as the battle, they span a few minutes of runtime.

Since the last update, I've made a small, yet crucial, adjustment to my planning process - weekly targets. Every week (or two) has a specific production goal, such as "finish linework for these scenes" or "apply FX and BG to these scenes". 

It's proven incredibly helpful in batching my work into more manageable chunks. In AGILE software dev, they're called sprints, but only now have I really committed myself to using them. Most importantly, I can pace myself and relax, knowing that I don't have to worry about hitting 1-2 month targets. I only have to worry about the current week.

So according to this schedule, story 6 will be releasing mid-April.

Nearing Completion

The animation itself is reaching that point in the project where I can more confidently say: "This was worth it". That is in terms of quality, story, and what I've learned from the project. Even if it doesn't get as many views as Vs. Bog, or doesn't produce that much traffic to the channel, I'm fairly sure that it'll entertain those that do watch it.
