Benchmark results of optimized version for Skyrim SE
Added 2023-03-30 08:43:00 +0000 UTCOptimized version of Skyrim SE mod at Patreon got some test results, but they vary a lot, can be 4% in cpu limited areas and highend videocards, 18% gain for same hardware in places more gpu limited. Complex parallax, complex terrain parallax, complex particles and water have the highest fps improvement for any videocard model. But because optimized effects also have higher visual quality, lowering it in the enbseries.ini for optimized effects can give bigger fps raise at equal or better visuals to non optimized version. I don't want spend more time to tweak again to match quality of effects to have more objective compare of performance boost at constant quality level, so can suggest Patreon version only if you know how to modify quality setting to get higher frame rate. For example, public version water displacement high quality looks about the same as low quality of it in the optimized version and runs faster. If you can't tweak such basic things and can only update binary, then expect 5-20% performance improvement only.
