Yup, I looked back in my archives and found a part-inked (and I mean, like, a tiny bit of fur was inked) PSD copy of this, so decided to finish it off for real :D
[EDIT 30/03/2020]
So despite it taking aaaaages for me to get back to this one since its sketch stage, once I got to inking it was surprisingly smooth sailing to completion :D
I even tried yet another net thing when it came to the geometric shape in the background. Not just a shape with a gradient, I overlayed a "multiply" layer over the pen's shape, set it to 50% hardness, lowered the opacity and flow and upped the spacing. Gave a nice subtle (I hope) gently layered and textured feel to the background. I chose a dark-to-light purple gradient with a deep red for the fog-like effect. With luck, it worked to make the piece more interesting to look at :D
As for the shading, I went with something different there, too. Purple overlay set to multiply, rather than what the standard red. I'm learning a lot about what multiply does and how it works -- so much experimentation going on recently!
Hope you're all happy with it ^u^
