The comic is supposed to be set around 2004, that's why Wallace rented Red Dragon and why the different posters in the first page: Freaky Friday, Shrek 2, FLCL and Shaun of the Dead (from Edgar Wright! director of the Scott Pilgrim movie). There's also a poster of Action Doctor, fictional movie starring Lucas Lee (second evil ex boyfriend). I just realized maybe poster isn't the word I'm looking for... How do you call that printed thing to show a movie
