I work in Czechia for ✨Heimstaden✨ which is real estate company that owns shit ton of apartments (also in Germany btw.) everyone hates them for the prices which go up every year but they will give you apartment if you have the money with proof of income. So if you are desperate enough try them 🤗

So had to go back to square one. I like the taking a break idea. Something will turn up… and it will be the right place. 🙃

It’s definitely not just you, my male friend in Germany is also having a tough time finding an apartment there. You will find the place that's right for you! It's just a way for fate to tell you that place just wasn't right for you. Love your rant, though. You can always rant to us all if it helps, lol. We all have our struggles, no judgement here! I've recently watched the new Avatar series on Netflix. Started as a sceptic, but it was not as bad as I expected. You just have to prove that you have money, so they ask for a doc of your bank account transactions. No need to be backed up, cuz you can pay an insurance company (that's what I do). Here we do almost everything online. I signed the contract via a legalized company using my digital signature. Well, it seems you guys have a lot of bureaucracy, but cheer up! I'm sure you gonna find a fine apartment! And recently I'm rewatching Wong Kar Wai's movies, but I'll look for this one you mentioned and add it to my watchlist on letterboxd.

Hier hat es tatsächlich nur 2 Wochen gedauert bis ich meine Wohnung hatte, aber ich suche momentan seit 3 Monaten eine Wohnung in Bayern für Sommer/Herbst und könnte heulen 🥲 Keine Ahnung ob das vorher Glück war aber die haben echt viele Voraussetzungen, die jemand Mitte 20 nicht erreichen kann lol
