Hey there! We've had a nice bit of growth in our Patreon count in the last few weeks, so before I reveal some hidden details, I wanted to say thanks to you all! Some of you I know, some of you I don't, but I really like how Patreon starts to feel like a cozy club with "elite" fans, friends and family. Hope you don't get tired of the mails every week, although you can turn those off!
Here are the hidden details in this week's comic:

There's a bunch of stuff scribbled on the chalkboard behind Sakurai in the first and final panel. I'll get back to the chalkboard at the end of this blog since not everything is visible in the first panel, but among the stuff you CAN see is someone who has tried to draw the Smash logo. They failed five times before finally getting it right.

Sakurai is wearing another one of his Hidden Details-shirts! This time, he is showing off his love for Smash with a stylish shirt decorated with Smash logo's and little hearts. I'll get back to this in the second panel where Sakurai is visible towards the end of the comic.

The drawing on the flipover matches Sakurai's explanation in the following panels: you can see Ganondorf, King K. Rool, Mewtwo, Wolf, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Incineroar, Dedede, Meta Knight and Wario's portraits in one room. This is the room with moderate villains, who are more like anti-heroes in reality. The other room houses Dark Samus, Ridley and Villager, who are all villains that don't have any problem killing people.
You can also see that Pichu/Blackrose has an attic for himself, with torches and chains and everything. This is a callback to the Blackrose persona I burdened myself with in one of the first Everyone is Home comics. Fox and Falco also share a room (they're really, REALLY good friends, okay?) and Piranha Plant lives in the garden since… he's a plant. Samus originally slept with Dark Samus and Ridley in one room (as you can see in the Roster Imposter comic), but since Ridley and Dark Samus moved out of that room, Snake moved in, which is also represented on the flipover.

In the second panel, where the villains are celebrating the good news, there are a few neat references going on: Ganondorf is wearing his Adidas/Triforce shirt, although the logo is obscured by Dark Samus' and Dedede's fists. Wolf is wearing his eyepatch now, although it's entirely for show. He's among all the other fighters now, so he wants to look badass. Incineroar hasn't gotten around of cleaning himself up after Sakurai's finishing move in last week's comic.

Also, Villager is just menacingly celebrating in silence. He's in another tier of evilness.

I guess a lot of viewers will be VERY confused by the weird looking Jigglypuff in the second panel. Consider yourself lucky to be one of the few people who get an explanation for this grotesque pink ball! It's a direct copy from a drawing Reddit user SirLegolas13 posted:

He made it when he was four years old and I thought it was absolutely hilarious, so I asked him if I could use it in a comic. I could, and I did!

In the fourth panel, I gave all three of Olimar's Pikmin separate little chairs! This is more of a Cute Detail than a Hidden Detail, but still.

In the last panel, we finally get a better look at the full chalkboard. There's an announcement for the P.S.A. that Sakurai is giving during this comic. There's also a drawing of Marth as a girl with a sword. Marth himself, probably, wrote "WHO DREW THIS??" next to it. In the top right corner, you can see the announcement of an interesting seminar being held that day: Say NO To Taxes, by Yoshi. This is, of course, a reference to Yoshi's illegal activities as tax evader.

Also, Sakurai's shirt changed slightly! As foreshadowing of the right side of this panel, the Smash logo's on his shirt have been replaced with tiny Kirby's.

And to close off, there's one more hidden detail that includes my favorite Smash character and main, Greninja. He lives in the moat of Chateau Sphère-Rose (which means Pink Sphere Castle, by the way). I don't think he minds, though, since he's the only Water Pokémon in the game and a frog, to boot. If anything, he probably enjoys the calmness.
And that's it for this week! Please tune in next Friday for another gazillion hidden details I just can't seem to keep myself from drawing!
Have an awesome weekend!
