Frosted acrylic panels have quite a nice textured surface that helps graphite to stick to it. (If you want you can try spraying a little bit of fixative on top of your initial sketch to ensure it won’t get smudged.)

2020-10-02 15:28:27 +0000 UTCYes, correct. I don’t prime frosted acrylic panels before painting because they have a rough textured surface that helps create a pretty strong bond between the paint and the panel.
