Added 2023-09-08 02:33:56 +0000 UTCVACATION OVER! How goes you? I'm fine. I started watching Record of Lodoss War TV again, largely due to working on this little mini series. Now, despite having been a fan of it for nearly 2 decades and buying the show twice, I have never actually finished watching Lodoss TV. I fell off the first time when I was a teenager because I didn't care about Spark all that much. And then subsequent attempts at rewatching the show over the years I'd never get that far. Didn't help that I'd watch the dub for nostalgia's sake, only to be reminded how terrible it is. But this time it's different! First, I switched it to subs. Even if the animation can get janky at times, at least the voice acting isn't janky with it! Secondly, I didn't start over from the beginning again! I've seen Parn and friends go up Fire Dragon Mountain enough times. This time, I started where I left off about 18 years ago! This means I'll finally progress in the story without having to rewatch the same junk over and over and over again! Helps that I remember most of what occurred before where I left off. Maybe once I finish it I'll finally watch those last four episodes of Aim for the Ace! Or maybe watching something else entirely different! Maybe I'll finish Aim for the Ace in 2048!
