Added 2023-04-03 23:55:25 +0000 UTCDND The Movie (2023): It was entertaining. I didn't have high hopes for it, but I was happy with how it came out. Some plot beats were predictable, but it works with what they were going for. Not every film needs to have a twist on the formula. Recently I haven't felt like watching much. Or, to be more specific, when I finally have down time I'd rather just lay down and nap or turn my brain off and scroll through reddit for a bit. Most I've been watching is my weekly theater experience and currently Sonic Boom. My eyes and brain are too tired to pay attention to subtitles, so I'm not caught up with anything currently airing anime wise. What I need is another good/dumb english dubbed anime to snort at before going to bed. Either that or I can try to finish some of the stuff I've started and have yet to finish still, like Patlabor TV. Dub is kinda mediocre, but in a nostalgic sort of way so I'm fine with it.
