I just realized that Rogal being the Emperor's "blankie psykana" makes total in-universe sense. Rogal Dorn's special ability as a Primarch is that he "calms the Warp around him". He is literally a psychic calming device. All of these millennia as the Centurion he's been the Emperor's favourite companion to have around, to cuddle with, to ease his pain. Imagine how nice it must be for the Emperor, who is permanently plugged into the pain and chaos of the Warp, to have a powerful warp-calming cuddle-toy next to him? It's probably the only thing that gives him any degree of real relief from his pain.

Remember how Magnus is helping to bring about ynnead the god of death who can revive people, u recon mini Magnus will tell him and he may ask for a favor so that kitten may return to us.

This is oddly apt for the end of TTS, for the time being. In my head cannon for now Kitten becomes a living saint. One day when TTS makes its glorious return it will be great to see how true that remains. Thank you Alfabusa for this amazing experience.

Even if the show was meant to end on this one it'd be still better than like 90% of the shows out there, in the whole world? There is so much setup that would end without proper payoff but looking at as it is now it's just crazy well made series. It's like Game of Thrones ended on 5th season, but unlike GoT I'm certain you guys will deliver. Eventually.

I decided to hold off on seeing this until it was a complete episode, but after the news of today I went ahead and watched it in case it were to get taken down or something. I was left looking at the black screen of my phone, listening to those rain noises, thinking… “this is what I’m going to be left with… this, unless GW changes so it can be continued, will be what we’re left on… the death of a loved one”

I want to say first, ignore the other guy commenting on here. His inability to show sympathy is not your fault. Second, while this ends on a cliffhanger, its an oddly appropriate one given the current news. I was worried I'd feel unsatisfied, and sure, there are plot threads still loose, but at least with this one can almost tell themselves the story has ended. Albeit, an unhappy end.

You know, one thing I find funny about this is how much it makes me think that, if it were 9th edition, Custodes would have given them a HELL of a better fight. Technically kitten would have gotten to punch the Kastellans before they could start beating him down. Just a funny realization I had.

Unfortunately, I think I see Dorn sitting on his lap. If you look at the left, you can see the centurion head.

I could be wrong but...I think in that moment the emperor used his power to open a temporal warp rift and psychically told rogal to rush to Kitten's aid.

Hey do you guys think the emperor losing his mind from grief is going to act like the great rift and awaken a bunch of new psykers and other side effects? And if so, perhaps.. Boy's true potential will be unleashed.

Okay now that I’ve had some time to process this episode, here’s some thoughts: •When I first watched it for a few times, Lockwarden asking if Kitten was done with his ‘space games’ didn’t make too much sense to me until I remembered the Stellaris special. And then I looked closely at Kitten in the beginning and you put the victory screen on the terminal as if he had JUST finished the game moments ago. It was a really nice touch. •The banter between the Custodians was nice to hear, and the GPServitor’s “Arriving at: die” joke always gets me. •Even if the battle was seemingly one-sided, hot DAMN there were some great moments, like demolishing the Ranger Squads. The animation was top notch, especially during Kitten’s time-stopped charge. •My heart was torn to shreds by every loss the Custodes suffered and I think this is the most Grimdark the series has gotten (in a good way) and is a spectacular way of showing how anything can go wrong. Thank you Alfabusa, I love this series.
