Process: WFMU DJ Fox Design Process
Added 2023-03-07 07:09:18 +0000 UTCI liked the word balloon version, but the sticker dimensions were getting thrown off, and the vintage radio microphone threw off the balance of the design for me. I wanted to keep a radio item in the design and went with the vintage radio. I liked the boombox but it was iffy to stand the fox on it. I had a batch of other sketches but they frustrated me and the studio was getting messy so i tore them up and chucked 'em into File 13 last week.

Fingers crossed my friend Fox is still on the WFMU schedule next year and the image will be used for a sticker premium.
Speaking of WFMU, the station's fundraising marathon has officially kicked off.
They're already close to 30% raised from pre-marathon pledges and monthly donation rollovers (!). I am a $10 a month pledger. I usually pledge to a few shows during the marathon on top of that depending on how things are going.

I like Music For Mind Control...but not so much the actual music. And to be fair, the background on the cults can get depressing. But a fascinating subject and musical niche, and an hour is a perfect length to keep me from going too loopy. This reminds me, I haven't chosen my swag. I'm thinking premium to Stashu, a bunch to Fox, and then probbably some small extra donations to Hearty White and whatever shows I jump on during the two weeks. Maybe Clay. I listen to so many shows, wish I could premium pledge to them all.
