Oh, boy, is that ever the truth! This is one of the MANY ways in which "Sex And The City 2" is one of the greatest bad movies of all time (in the "oh, for ****'s sake...you had a huge budget, the full support of a major studio, and a talented cast" category). It's scene after scene after scene of characters saying absolutely the DUMBEST crap imaginable, just to set up a line that the screenwriter was obviously oh-so-proud of.
