As you know, I'm pretty open about most things but when it comes to the family we're actually pretty private people. Sarah, especially.

One of the reasons things have been tough this year in regards to life and work -- tougher than we've let on -- has been because Sarah has been sick. She posted the message below on Facebook on Sunday night. We appreciate the kind DMs folks sent in response. As Sarah mentions, please understand that she's not really in a position to respond personally right now. Everyone is doing their best to deal and function, obviously the main thing is that Sarah gets through this, and gets healthier.

Hey friends, as most of you know I rarely log in here anymore but I still occasionally stop by only to see that someone tried to contact me through messenger or a tag - please contact me elsewhere, even though I'm inactive everywhere I'm just never going to see stuff on fb.

I'm currently dealing with a serious health issue, I'm now two months into what is pretty rough chemo and it basically swallows up most of my energy.

if all goes well I hope to be back next year to collect another round of birthday wishes!

until then, you may find me elsewhere or even here once in a while but if I'm laying low or don't respond, I'm just out of energy and not ignoring people.
