I heavily considered Discord, made the name and a server and everything, but I think I would burn out in a flash (I'm horribly introverted and the energy drain of that [probably very nice!] interaction would ruin my writing output). Polls are something I'll be doing for sure, and a commission lottery is an awesome idea! Once I have my legs under me, I think it could be cool to do a seasonal one or something like that. Thank you so much for the thoughts! Please let me know if anything else comes to mind; I'm happy to learn and grow with this new venture.

It makes for a great place to keep in touch with the community, and always fun to talk to other fans of the same work. 2. Commission lottery. Pledge a certain amount and there's a chance to get your story written, with ideas picked at random or voted on by other patrons. 3. Patron polls. If you've got a few ideas about what you'd like to write next, you can put it up to a poll for patrons to vote on.
