Character profile: Haylee

**Character profiles contain spoilers that you learn when playing the game. If you don’t want spoilers, you should play the game before reading this profile**

Haylee works at the supermarket in the shopping mall. You’ll meet her if you decide to buy groceries for mom. With the slight scene order change that occurs after going to the Gym or optionally halfway through Cooper’s scene.

She attended the same high school as Max, with some of the same classes. However, the two of you never spoke so Max doesn’t remember her name. She does remember your name, suggesting you made a lasting impression. During the conversation, you can be honest about not remembering her name, or try and fake it.

Whilst chatting you notice some adult magazines which seem out of place on the rack behind her. You can mention it, or leave it for her to notice herself. She makes a reference to the amount of pubic hair the girl in the photo has and that guys might be disappointed. You infer that she isn’t as hairy, but have a choice on how to respond.

You can say guys are easygoing, to which she replies that you’ll basically take whatever is on offer. Asking if she’s shaved gets a disapproving response. You can also ask if she was referencing herself, and that it’s the guy’s problem if he doesn’t like her because of it. She’ll deny that’s what she was talking about, but thanks you for the comment.

The conversation is cut short by Mr. Adams, the store manager. He confronts Haylee about the adult magazines. You can speak up, or let her handle it. A customer then attracts Mr. Adams’ attention, possibly on purpose since she was watching you and Haylee talk.

If you scored highly with Haylee, she’ll end the scene by saying ‘Hopefully I'll see you around.’ Otherwise, she’ll say ‘Maybe I'll see you around.’

Haylee is a no-bullshit kind of girl. If you’re looking to pursue her, you’ll need to be straight and honest in your approach. How that works when you’re chasing multiple girls is for you to find out.

She is less affluent than some of the other girls and will notice your spending habits when appropriate. This is a game mechanic where your actions can affect relationship stats with other characters who are not present, depending on the situation.

The supermarket is one of the locations where you can get a part-time job in the next update.
