The biggest update to FDE Aela yet (again), including many new features and 714 new lines. As of 9.0, Aela has been expanded with 2743 lines.
Almost all side quests are now covered for quest commentary. Existing quest commentaries also get expanded. The Civil War, the most complex questline, also gets full commentary now.
Many new immersive interactions for dynamic situations (eg. nudity, sickness, injury).
The approval system is much more impactful with many new interactions based on Aela's approval and her standing with you.
All unique encounters and boss battles are now covered. Aela has unique combat lines for all of them!
Many romance lines are redone to give Aela more sensuality if she is romanced. Blood is truly running hot!

Update:
2025/8/27 - Fixed the issue where Aela is saying her human lines when in werewolf form. Added a romance blocker while the Dark Brotherhood questline is active. Made the crafting idles more frequent.
2025/8/30 - Fixed the Dark Brotherhood side contract lines not triggering.
2025/8/31 - Fixed a Dark Brotherhood forcegreet looping infinitely. Made some romantic lines not available while doing the Dark Brotherhood questline. Fixed a missing line from Arnbjorn. Fixed the issue where Arnbjorn's final scene doesn't trigger correctly.
2025/9/3 - Added 40 lines related to the Dark Brotherhood questline to further complete her reaction. Blocked more romantic lines for the Dark Brotherhood. Made the naked lines not trigger while the player transformed into werewolf.
2025/9/5 - Fixed two Dark Brotherhood conversations not triggering or triggering at the wrong places.
2025/9/9 - Blocked more romantic lines from triggering during the Dark Brotherhood questline for character consistency. Removed "I'll head back home if you need me" which was for compatibility with EFF. Cleaned some edits for Part 1's esp so that there are fewer duplicate edits.
2025/9/27 - Fixed a few quest reaction lines triggering too early. Made Aela's Thieves Guild disapproval line trigger at the Ragged Flagon Cistern only.
2025/10/23 - Fixed the issue where Aela doesn't turn hostile in the vampirism confrontation if the player chose the option that would offend Aela.
2025/10/24 - Blocked the non-Volkihar vampire confrontation from playing while you are in the Volkihar and haven't completed the Dawnguard questline.
2025/10/28 - Aela will let you turn back into a werewolf if you completed the Dawnguard questline on the Volkihar side.

This mod is part of my series to renovate vanilla characters with additional depth and interaction, similar to the other Dialogue Expansion mods.

2025-10-28 13:01:49 +0000 UTCIf picking the Volkihar path, she will confront you on the stairs of the castle, and if you don't play your cards right, you'll have a boss fight. If you play them right, she will just leave you, and will only return to being your follower if you cure yourself from vampirism, either via becoming a werewolf through her, or visiting Falion. She won't be at your side through Dawnguard if you take the Volkihar path.
